the new office branch

It's been four days since our office branch moved way from the old place(No 300 Gudun Road). The new office is pretty nicer than the former one.

It still locates Xihu Distirct, but it gets more closer to West Lake and high education area(like Zhejiang University etc.).You see, more beautiful surroundings and heavier educated atmosphere. Isn't that wonderful? Surely, the transportation is still so convenient. Because, here's the center but with a quiet and cozy neighbourhoods.

The construction of the new office is loft style, namely, it's like three floor with two balconies. On the top of it, it can be arranged to staff dormitory/ coffee break room, and the second floor, we made it being our office, about the the floor, which more likely a basement, so it could be a simple sample room. What is worth mentioning that When weather is fine and shining, we can sit in the balcony in coffee time enjoying the sun.

The day I stayed in the headquarter

The weather was not good that day, rained. Winter rain is cold, wet and light. The traffic was quite busy. But all of these couldn't affect our nice mood. Because Chinese New Year was coming, and we were going to meet colleagues.

Our manger Chacy Lou drove her car, and I was in her car( I don't drive).  We had a lots small talks, like car brand we saw on the way, beautiful houses, famous  views,etc. After three hours' drive, we finally arrived the destination city, Shengzhou, Shaoxing.

With the accompany of colleague Mr. Wong, I took such close and careful look at all the productive process. The workmanship and technology were amazed me deeply! Speaking of the biodegradable resins, I found thousands of piles bags of food safety level of corn starch on broad clean ground! I grabbed some corn starch and smelt, oh my, that's really made from corn! At that time, all my doubts were gone. Since the day I've been working for Tianhe, a doubt just took its root in my heart--Can all the products actually made by corn starch? Even I don't know how to give answers to my customer about this question. Now I know the raw material!

But I was still having no clue about how the resins and sheets made. So I was led to the twin-screw granulators. OMG! The machines are such long! First, let me tell you how long it is. From where the corn starch can be put into till the finished shape, the total strength over than 15m(I estimated it ) and the height more than 7m(estimated)! God,I wish I COULD attach a photo for you, but unfortunately, the memory card was broken :((( About the auto sheet extruders are as awesome as granulators! Same height but shorter, about 12m(estimated) long.

And then I stopped by the injection workshop, where cutleries made. I checked out how biodegradable yogurt spoon injected. From resins to 18PCS finished spoon, it just takes very very short time! If you see it with your own eyes, you must can't believe it! This sort of process also happen on other machines like auto positive-pressure molding machine, auto negative-pressure molding machine, film blowing machine, etc.

Chinese Lunar New Year

Chinese Lunar New Year is around the corner. As a tradition, people have a lot of interesting activities. And what do our companies will do for staff?

For one of Tianhe's employees, I'm going to be the first year to spend with colleagues. Our Dept, Foreign Trade Sales, will be set off tomorrow in Hanghzou branch, to Shaoxing headquarter. Though I know less information about how they scheduled for tomorrow, the major part is about New Year's Eve dinner. Every one sits together with bright mood, no matter you are the founder of the enterprise or a normal worker, just like a happily family. Delightful  talkings and laughers are now coming from my imagination. All the glorious pictures will be created by new year!

BTW, What's the meaning of new year for you?

Every one loves new year. It's not only a day for celebration and counting for the annual achievements, also for reunion.

For me, new year is a day for people to review the memory of thousands of old tradition. Chinese history possesses five thousands of years, but how much does the essence hand down? Only ourselves know how much it left today. Family meals and reunion, fireworks, red envelope (lucky money) and staying-up(sousui) has became the main symbol of Chinese new year. As for other traditions, forgetful people, no matter how, they just can't recall it at all...

Never say never!

I've been nearly four months working for the company: Zhejiang Tianeh Environmental Technology Co.,Ltd. From know nothing about plastic,more accurate, biodegradable plastic, to know something. I'm so happy for that. :D

The company specailizes in producing corn starch based biodegradable and 100% compostable resin and products, which is a leading manufacturer in China mainland.

I like this company, because it's creative and diligent enterprises. You many have doubts about of what I am telling. I can tell you an example.

Once a customer of North American sent a design and also the specific requests of how to meet his needs(and most our competitors couldn't make it either in China mainland). At that time, the Tianhe didnt make that kind of products, but it did not just give up on the new product. Tiane's R&D center and Technical Dept worked on this products little by little. They tried, but failed; tried again, better failed; better tried,finally succedeed! After handreds of times of tests and improvement, the company just made it! What is worth mentioning, the customer known and appracited how much endeavor our people made, so he made a final descion--enlarged his order! Until now, we still are not only have a great business relationship but also a nice friendship!

Every staff of Tianhe is proud of it, and one reason behind which I guess it's precious spirit of work--Never say never!
